This course provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate Class 1 (electric motor rider), Class 4 (internal combustion cushion tire), and Class 5 (internal combustion pneumatic tire) forklifts. Participants will learn safe operating procedures, load handling, stability principles, pre-use inspections, and hazard awareness. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, operators will gain the confidence and competence needed to work effectively in warehouse and industrial environments while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
