The Take 5 and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to identify workplace hazards, assess risks, and implement effective controls before starting work. Participants will learn how to use the Take 5 process to conduct quick field-level risk assessments and complete Job Hazard Analyses for planned work activities. The course emphasizes hazard recognition, critical thinking, worker involvement, and proactive risk management to prevent incidents and ensure work is completed safely. Upon completion, learners will be able to confidently apply Take 5 and JHA processes to support safe decision-making and compliance with BC Works safety requirements.
