The Hazardous Energy Control (Lockout/Tagout) – Affected Person Training course provides workers with the knowledge required to recognize hazardous energy sources and understand the purpose and requirements of hazardous energy control procedures. Participants will learn their roles and responsibilities as affected persons, the importance of lockout/tagout practices, how to identify when equipment is locked out, and the precautions necessary to prevent unexpected startup or energy release. Upon completion, learners will be able to work safely around locked-out equipment and support compliance with workplace safety requirements.
